I Love You, Erin
This is my new hair, courtesy of Erin at Bouffant Daddy Salon in Maplewood. Suffice it to say that I am pleased. The best compliment was when I walked into the cafeteria this morning for duty. Little Camaron (no, not misspelled) said, "Mrs. Rabbitt, you are too hot for the classroom!"
I love my students this year.
This was the first time I actually made an appointment to get my hair done. Those of you who know me know that I am not a foo-foo gal. I like nail polish, but I also do a lot of gardening. But, based on Robin's rave reviews and fully awesome hair, I decided to get it cut by someone who knew their way around a curly mane. I was a little apprehensive that I would feel like a country bumpkin in the salon, but it was totally awesome and relaxed. Plus, Erin lives on my same street!
When I left the salon, I could feel my hair BOBBING as I strutted/floated down Manchester. I am the happiest girl in South City right now, especially after a new Degrassi!

You look awesome! I think B. kinda wants you right now. Erin is a deity, as far as I'm concerned.
Dy-no-mite little hot mama.
And that blouse is tres adorable.
!
Hey, Alison,
Just echoing my wife's post about your hair, and letting you know I agree with you about the Herbert Selby book, which I read for the first time a year or so back. Yowsaw! That's a terrific read.
Heh, Steve, "A Tree Grows In Brooklyn" is waaaaaay different from the Selby novel, "Last Exit From Brooklyn"!
The tree one is about a young girl's coming of age in a poor family. The other one involves whores and junkies and transvestites, but is equally appealing.
Doh, I'm so out of luck. It is a curly girl salon. My straight locks need to find another person. Phooey.
I just gave my husband a big, ole "d'oh" for you. He says he knew ^something^ was happening in Brooklyn.
Adorable. Love the hair with the red glasses.
I am feeling the need for a change of hairstyle as well. I think it needs to be above the shoulders.
Alice Sebold has a new book out that I want to check out. Its about a woman who kills her elderly mother. I heard about it on NPR and it sounded swell. Have you read her memoirs?
